The princess
The princess just had her first taste of wine, the champagne's too dry, but the bubbles are fine!

Pulp fiction
I bought these with the intention of making postcards; upon reflection, however, I'm not positive I want to give them up... (becoming attached is always the risk, isn't it?!)
Things I gave my mom: mother's day ATC
I think I just like making tiny things... sort of like closed room mysteries, maybe? Within the constraints of the form, the mind is free?
Things I gave my mom: creepy doll painting
It's no wonder I was not my figure drawing professors favorite student... I think this may have happened after about 2 months of the BORINGEST NAKED MODEL EVER. 1996-ish.
Things I gave my mom: nine patch quilt
hand pieced and quilted; I think this may be my very first quilt project. 2002?
Things I gave my mom: Mini quilt
Free hand piecing and quilting; I have always loved keeping (or finding) scraps and using them in my projects - the mini-quilts combine that with quick-to-finish extra goodness. Also, I need to hoard my Kaffee Fassett fabrics!

Vintage craft book challenge, project 1
I decided that I would justify my obsession with vintage craft books by making at least one project from each. This one is also my first attempt at real crewel embroidery. I dislike coral stitch... I probably just need practice.

Luchador
Luchador, originally uploaded by luluincognito.
Another older piece, part of my playing catch up project. Not a very good photo... Even though I say this is "done" there is still something... something about this that needs... something. It drives me crazy on a regular basis

A dream; Act I
And (finally), the final piece... Still working on a better title. The rider portion previously posted refered to as "Fairy Tale Circus Rider" - descriptive, but still not cutting it.
Book, found doo dads (buttons! bones! TEETH!), velvet, plastic figures, glitter, moss, tin.

Woody
After two years of on-again-off-again stitching, finally completed - at least the stitching part... still sitting in the Palermo's house waiting the final decision: framed wall piece or pillow?
(Needlepoint; Appleton wool on Penelope canvas.)
