As part of my self-course for "improved piecing" I'm working through Ruth B. McDowell's Piecing Workshop. I don't think I've ever actually done the projects in any sort of craft book before, so it's kind of an interesting process.I'm not entirely sold on the freezer paper piecing. Doubtless easier for machine piecing, but when hand sewing the paper is a bit awkward.
Only one practice patch into it, so far so good. Besides, an excuse to use up some of the random "why did I buy that??" stash pile...
